Embur's Song racked up her third consecutive stakes win July 5 at Presque Isle Downs with a narrow win in the $100,000 Windward S. at one mile on the synthetic track.  The 4-year-old daughter of Unbridled's Song previously scored by 3 1/2-lengths in Woodbine's Hendrie S. (G3) on May 14 and rolled to a track record performance in the $125,000 Doubledogdare S. (G3) April 22 at Keeneland.

The bay filly, who was making her first start at the Pennsylvania track, set all the pace before being challenged about 3/16ths from the wire. She dug in gamely to win by a nose in 1:39.15.

Canadian-bred Embur's Song upped her lifetime earnings to $428,816 and her record to 9-5-1-1. She was bred in Ontario by Josham Farms Limited.

Embur's Song sold to her owner Fares Farm at the 2008 Keeneland September yearling sale for $170,000. Out of the winning mare Embur Sunshine, Embur's Song is a half-sister to the Canadian stakes winner Ten Flat and the stakes placed Dawn Raid and Embattle.
