Issam M. Fares Equine Sports Medicine Program

Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University has been recognized as a world leader in Equine Sports Medicine for over a decade. The difference between success and failure for equine athletes may be a matter of milliseconds, and the diagnosis often rests on the development of highly innovative and technical instrumentation. When proper and timely evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment are applied to the equine athlete, we have the chance to avert catastrophic, career-limiting injuries.
